About BuckleUp
BuckleUp is a free iPhone app that sounds a loud alarm when you start driving, as a reminder to buckle up. You're welcome to mention it in campaigns, newsletters, classes, social posts and articles. There's no need to ask first.
It's free
Drive detection and the loud siren cost nothing. An optional one-time $0.99 unlock adds other sounds, including a recording of someone in the family.
It collects nothing
No account, no ads, no analytics, and nothing is sent to the developer. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.
Nothing to touch on the road
Tap Buckle me before pulling out and that drive stays quiet. If the alarm sounds once you're moving, leave the phone alone: it stops by itself, after 15 seconds by default.
Honest about its limits
It can't sense the belt itself, so it reminds you each time a drive starts. Without car Bluetooth it may not sound until the car is moving, and it may also go off when you're a passenger, on a bus, or on a train.
